According to the notice filed with the Massachusetts Attorney General, Conduent—which supplies mailroom, document-processing and payment-integrity services to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois under a business associate agreement—experienced unauthorized system access between October 21, 2024 and January 13, 2025. On January 13, 2025, Conduent detected the intrusion, contained it within two weeks, and confirmed the threat had been removed by January 27, 2025.
