Why the Case Settled
Plaintiffs alleged Walgreens violated California Labor Code § 2802 and the Unfair Competition Law by failing to reimburse mandatory clothing expenses. Walgreens denies wrongdoing but agreed to settle to avoid further litigation risk in Naro v. Walgreen Co., No. 4:22-cv-03170-JST (N.D. Cal.).
