Who Qualifies?

You're a class member if you bought or leased, in the continental U.S., one of the Subaru vehicles listed below and your specific VIN is confirmed on the VIN lookup portal:

  • 2013-2022 Subaru Legacy
  • 2013-2022 Subaru Outback
  • 2015-2023 Subaru Impreza
  • 2015-2023 Subaru Crosstrek
  • 2014-2021 Subaru Forester
  • 2019-2022 Subaru Ascent

Who Is Excluded?

  • Dealers and entities that purchased vehicles for resale
  • Owners of salvage-title vehicles or total losses
  • Insurance companies and providers of extended warranties/service contracts
  • Anyone who already released Subaru from related claims

Available Benefits

  • Warranty Extension – Subaru will cover 75% of cost on one covered EyeSight repair performed by an authorized Subaru retailer within four years/48,000 miles of in-service date (or until four months after July 29, 2025, if that period has already lapsed).
  • Reimbursement for Past Repairs – Already paid out of pocket? Claim 75% of one qualifying EyeSight repair invoice completed before July 29, 2025 and within four years/48,000 miles of in-service date.

A “covered repair” must involve diagnosed failure of EyeSight’s pre-collision braking, rear automatic braking, or lane keep assist due to camera assembly or rear sonar sensor issues. Repairs stemming from brake pads, rotors, windshields, powertrain or environmental factors are excluded.

How to File a Claim

  1. Gather your repair invoice and proof of payment (if seeking reimbursement).
  2. Visit the online claim portal and enter the unique Notice ID & PIN or your VIN, or mail the completed PDF claim form to:

Required Documentation

  • Vehicle make, model, VIN and mileage at repair

  • If repair occurred under original Subaru warranty at a non-Subaru shop, proof you first sought service at an authorized retailer (or signed declaration)
  • Proof of ownership/lease at time of repair (if different from notice recipient)
