Available Benefits
- Automatic Offset Repayment – Wrongful-death claimants will automatically receive the full amount of any UIM offset Hartford applied.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Soleil UIM Class Settlement about?
The lawsuit alleges Hartford charged for misleading UIM coverage and improperly reduced benefits using liability offsets, violating New Mexico law.
How much money could I receive?
Depending on the option you choose, you could receive the full amount of any wrongful-death offset, a 23% refund of UIM premiums, or additional UIM benefits after claim re-evaluation.
Do I need proof of payment or damages?
Premium-refund claimants generally do not. Claim re-evaluation applicants may need to provide documentation, and disputes go to a Neutral Evaluator.
What happens if I do nothing?
You will give up your right to sue Hartford over the released claims and get no payment unless yours is an automatic wrongful-death offset claim.
Can I exclude myself from the Soleil UIM Class Settlement?
Yes. Send a signed opt-out request postmarked by February 21, 2026 to the Claims Administrator. You will receive no benefits but keep the right to sue Hartford individually.
