Samsara $3.95M Dash Cam Biometric Privacy Settlement

If you drove a vehicle equipped with a dual-facing Samsara dash camera in Illinois—or you are an Illinois resident who used one anywhere—between December 16, 2016 and June 12, 2025, you could pocket a pro-rata cash payment and receive one year of free Privacy Shield. Who Qualifies?

  • Anyone who drove a Samsara dual-facing dash-cam-equipped vehicle within Illinois between 12/16/2016 and 6/12/2025.
  • Illinois residents who drove such vehicles outside Illinois during the same period.
  • Both employees and independent contractors are included.
