Ocwen Florida Settlement

Who’s Eligible?

You may be part of the settlement if Ocwen Loan Servicing, LLC attempted to collect any of the following charges in a Florida foreclosure case:

  • $125 “unknown tenant” or “spouse” service-of-process fee
  • Attorneys’ fees for work never performed
  • $100 West Palm Beach property registration fee not owed

The court has certified three classes. You can belong to one, two, or all three:

  • Property Maintenance Class – 147 members
  • Service of Process Class – 11,837 members
  • Attorneys’ Fee Class – 27,855 members

Settlement Benefits

  • $250 for each Property Maintenance Class member
  • $65 for each Service of Process Class member
  • $14.14 for each Attorneys’ Fee Class member
  • If you have an active foreclosure, the same amounts reduce your loan balance

Total class damages: $1.2 million. Separate from these payments, Ocwen will pay $1.99 million in attorneys’ fees, $10,000 to the class representative, and all administration costs.

Important Dates

  • February 4, 2026 – Deadline to file a written objection
  • February 19, 2026 @ 10:00 a.m. ET – Final Approval Hearing (in person or via Zoom)
