Why Is There a Settlement?
Plaintiffs alleged that FPA’s use of Meta and Google tracking pixels allowed Facebook and other third parties to learn sensitive appointment information without users’ consent, violating several California privacy and consumer-protection statutes. FPA denies any wrongdoing. Both sides agreed to settle to avoid further litigation risk, and the Alameda Superior Court will decide whether the agreement is fair.

What is the FPA Women’s Health Website Tracking Settlement about?
The lawsuit claims FPA shared appointment details and other personal data with Facebook, Google and similar platforms via tracking pixels. The settlement resolves these allegations without a trial.
Do I need proof of my appointment?
Claimants must attest—under penalty of perjury—that they booked an appointment during the class period. Additional documentation is not required unless the Claims Administrator requests it.
When will I get my money?
Payments will be issued after the Court grants final approval on or after May 19 2026 and any appeals are resolved. This can take several months; updates will be posted on the official site.

No. The voucher can only be used by the claimant for FPA visits, services or products within two years of the settlement’s effective date.
