Settlement Benefits & Fees
The settlement creates a cash fund of up to $7.5 million. After deducting notice and administration costs, service awards (up to $5,000 each for the three class representatives), and attorneys’ fees (not to exceed one-third of the fund), the remainder will be split equally among approved claimants, capped at $15 each.

How much money will I receive?
Approved claimants will receive up to $15. The final amount may be reduced on a pro-rata basis depending on the number of valid claims.
What is the deadline to submit my claim?
Your online claim must be filed—or your paper claim postmarked—by November 4 2025.
How do I exclude myself from the Forbes.com Privacy Settlement?
Mail a signed exclusion request to the Settlement Administrator postmarked no later than October 21 2025. If you opt out, you’ll keep your right to sue Forbes separately but won’t receive settlement money.
When will the Court decide on final approval?
Judge Michele Towbin Singer will hold the Final Approval Hearing on November 17 2025 at 8:30 a.m. EST via Zoom. If approved and no appeals remain, payments are expected roughly 70 days later.
