Automotive salvage or recycling businesses that bought certain BMW vehicles or related Takata inflator parts may be entitled to $28.75 – $40.25 per inflator. Eligible companies must act before the Dec. 6, 2025 deadline—submit your claim online or download the form below.

- Were in the business of automotive salvage or recycling at the time of purchase—or still are.
- Recycled, refurbished, removed for sale, or resold second-hand Takata inflators or inflator parts in the U.S., D.C., or Puerto Rico before April 3, 2023.

Payment Amounts
- $40.25 per certification of a recalled inflator in current inventory.
- $28.75 per certification of a recalled inflator in historic inventory.
Multiply the number of qualifying inflators by the applicable rate to estimate your total award. Inflators already compensated under a separate BMW program are excluded.
