Mars Petcare US, Inc. discovered that two production lots of PEDIGREE® High Protein Chopped Chicken & Duck (13.2-oz) cans intended for destruction were illegally diverted into U.S. retail channels. Subsequent tests revealed the presence of hard metal combined with plastic fragments—a serious ingestion hazard for pets.

Check the code stamped on the bottom of your can. Recall involves only the following lots:

  • 613C1KKCFC

No other PEDIGREE® or Mars Petcare items are affected.
