Reason for the Recall

Supplier Fresh Creative Foods notified Kroger that bowtie and penne pasta from Nate’s Fine Foods could be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Although no illnesses have been confirmed, Listeria can cause severe or fatal infections—especially in young children, older adults, those with weakened immune systems and pregnant people.

  1. Do not consume the affected Basil Pesto Bowtie or Smoked Mozzarella Penne salads.
  2. Return or discard the product. Customers may bring it back to any Kroger banner store for a full refund or replacement.
  3. Call Kroger at 1-800-KROGERS for questions (Mon–Fri 8 a.m.–12 a.m. ET; Sat–Sun 8 a.m.–9 p.m. ET).
