Bettergoods Pistachio Nut Butter Recall Over Salmonella Contamination

Botticelli Foods has issued a voluntary recall for one lot of Bettergoods Pistachio Nut Butter after routine state testing detected Salmonella. If you purchased a 6.7-ounce jar in any of the 19 affected states, stop using it immediately and follow the refund instructions below.

Reason for the Bettergoods Pistachio Nut Butter recall

During a Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services inspection on July 17, 2026, three jars from lot LB028ACP04 tested positive for Salmonella. To protect consumers, Botticelli Foods launched an FDA-monitored nationwide recall on August 3, 2026. Salmonella infection can lead to fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain—conditions that can be severe in young children, older adults, and people with compromised immune systems.
